Help Kat Collado and Her Family Rebuild After Devastating House Fire

Recently, a fire tore through an apartment building in Childs, PA, displacing multiple families—including my close friend Kat Collado, her young son, and several relatives who lived in neighboring units. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but the damage has already been done: four families lost everything in an instant.

While we are so grateful that everyone made it out safely, the losses are heartbreaking. Kat, her son, and the other affected families lost all of their belongings—clothing, furniture, personal items, important documents, and even their vehicles. Their homes, filled with memories and necessities, are now gone.

Right now, Kat and her son are staying with family, and thanks to the generosity of a local church, they have received some clothing donations. But the road to rebuilding is long, and the need is great.
