Hi, my name is Katherine "Kat" Rebstock. I am 36 years old, and I am looking for some help. I don't do things like this, but I feel this is something that could really help out a lot.

I have had a lot of pain in my right knee. I got it looked at, and it turns out I had a meniscus tear. After exploring all options, there was the surgery to either fix the tear or take it out. It was then too far gone to repair, so the doctor took it out. In the midst of doing that, he discovered I had arthritis in that knee. That was a year and a half ago. Fast forward to now, I am 0.75mm to being bone on bone. After exploring more ways to get rid of the pain, there is not much I can do anymore without having to sit or stop in my tracks and breathe so the sharp stabbing pain can go away.

A knee replacement is now the only option for me to have a normal life and hopefully a healthier one too. With this surgery, it could lead to being out of work for a good 3 months.

Between my husband and me, there is not enough to cover the rent and car payments, utilities, etc., for those 3 months.

Most doctors won't do the surgery because of my age. I am so tired of being in so much pain and not being able to do everyday things around the house without wanting to cry.

Please help me and my husband keep the roof over our heads.

Something is better than nothing at all, and it doesn't hurt to ask.
