We Lost Everything in the San Angelo Flood — Please Help Us Rebuild
Our home — and everything we’ve built — was destroyed when San Angelo was hit with devastating floods. We had 18 inches of standing water inside our house for more than 24 hours. The damage is beyond anything we could have imagined.
We are deeply thankful that our family is safe. But the reality is, we’ve lost nearly everything.
This flood has impacted many families in our community, and like so many others, we’re facing this crisis with no support:
We are Katrina and Christopher Clark. We live at 225 Mimosa Dr, San Angelo, Texas 76903. We have lived here in San Angelo since 1999. I have raised both of my kids here, Saber Scamahorn and Silvara Shea Lawson. Both of my kids graduated from Lakeview High School. William Watson is our adopted son who has been with us for years.
• Our homeowners insurance (Texas Farm Bureau) has denied our claim
• FEMA assistance is still slow to come
• No state help has come through as of yet

About Us
We are Katrina and Christopher Clark, owners of Saber Wulf Inc and Katz — two small, local businesses here in San Angelo, Texas. We specialize in custom handmade hats, hat restoration, artist-designed and branded hats, and anime collectibles. These stores are our livelihood, our dream, and our connection to the community.
Right now, both are closed. We’re spending every day trying to salvage what we can and stop mold from spreading inside our home. We’ve been forced to tear out walls, floors, and everything that’s been ruined.
⸻
What We’ve Lost
• Major structural damage to our home
• Most of our furniture and personal belongings — including irreplaceable family heirlooms
• Original Native American art pieces
• Two vehicles (Katrina’s FireHawk and our Honda) flooded — unsure if insurance will cover them
• All construction tools, appliances, and essentials
• A/C mini split units, solar inverters, sheds, siding, deck, flooring — all damaged or destroyed
• Doors swollen shut from water damage — we have to force them open
• Massive cleanup still ahead: mud removal, septic draining, pool cleanup, mold remediation
It’s overwhelming — and we are just one of many families in our neighborhood facing the same.

The Human Toll
This disaster came at an already difficult time.
Chris, a disabled veteran, had just undergone kidney stone surgery in California. Katrina is currently dealing with serious heart health issues. Despite these challenges, we — along with our sons Saber Scamahorn and William Watson — have been working nonstop to tear out flooring, haul out waterlogged belongings, and do whatever we can to slow down the damage.
We’re also caring for our 7 beloved pets, who are part of our family and have been by our side for years.
This is physically and emotionally exhausting. We are doing everything we can — but we can’t do it alone.
⸻
