Katriel Madden’s journey has been defined by resilience, persistence, and a deep sense of purpose. From a young age, Katriel dreamed of traveling and always felt a strong calling to Asia. Despite facing many personal and financial hardships, she remained steadfast in her pursuit of that dream, setting goals, staying focused, and consistently exceeding expectations. Her commitment led her to earn a Master’s Degree in International Diplomacy, and now she’s officially accepted her first job offer to teach English in Taiwan.

Katriel will be relocating to Taiwan on August 26th, where she’ll begin this exciting new chapter. In her new role, she’ll not only gain hands-on teaching experience but also continue advancing her Mandarin language skills, an important step toward her ultimate goal of taking the U.S. Diplomats test and becoming a State Diplomat.

This fundraiser will help cover the travel costs and expenses associated with relocating and settling into her first apartment abroad. With a firm move-in deadline fast approaching, your support, big or small, will make a meaningful difference in helping her transition smoothly and start strong.
