Call to Action - The Colflodt Family Needs Our Help

Dear Friends and Compassionate Hearts,

Today, we reach out to you for your love, support, and prayers as Katlyn fights for her life. On Thursday, February 6th, the Colflodt family was blessed with their newest addition. As Jameson entered the world, Katlyn experienced life-threatening complications and had to be moved to a trauma hospital. She has been on several machines and had multiple operations to stabilize her and remains in the ICU for the time being.

Katlyn and Cody dreamed of expanding their family and worked towards this goal for years after their wedding on September 6, 2021. They knew they had to utilize IVF to reach this dream and they made it happen. As you can see in the photos, Lillie and Justin are so excited to have a younger brother!

Katlyn tells it like it is and loves to make faces when asked for a nice photo. She's a firecracker and so much fun to be around because we never know what will come out of her mouth or what she will say through her very expressive face. She's a loving and loyal person and she's definitely a fighter! We're hoping that Katlyn's sassy attitude will help her to keep charging through this process.

Unfortunately, we don't yet know the toll this will all take on Katlyn's body or how long her recovery will be. During this difficult time, Cody will be taking a leave of absence from work to care for Katlyn and their three children. Cody is facing this emotionally challenging time while still having to provide financially for his family. To this end, we can relieve some of his burden and make a tangible difference for the Colflodt family.

We have set up this GoFundMe to help Cody navigate the financial aspects of this process. The funds raised will go towards medical expenses, gas and ferry tickets to visit Katlyn, and everyday living costs. Our goal is to remove the financial pressure from Cody so that he can focus on caring for his wife and children. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps to show your love and support of the Colflodt family.
