Our dear friend Kati recently traveled to Tuscany, Italy to lead a long-awaited and beautifully planned retreat. The week was filled with connection, intention, and inspiration, until the very last day, when a sudden and severe medical emergency turned her trip upside down.

Kati's appendix ruptured unexpectedly, and she was rushed into emergency surgery. She is now out of surgery and in recovery, but the road ahead is long and costly.

Kati is currently still in Italy, recovering in the hospital and unable to travel. She’ll need extended care before she can safely fly home, and the financial burden is growing quickly...from hospital bills, medications, and post-op care, to unexpected travel, lodging, and family support expenses abroad.
