Hello! My name is Katie Steuernagel, I am a senior in the Animation BFA program at California State University, Long Beach. I am raising funds in order to complete my senior animated short film Nice Spare!--a cutesy animated film with a dark comedy twist about two bowling rejects, Owen and Ethan, who accidentally discover the hellscape of sentient bowling pins who need the boys to help in "sparing" their lives. The film will feature unique mixed media animation, including stop motion paper puppets with interchangeable magnetic faces, silicone puppets, collage, and more! The funds I raise will go towards paying background artists, sound mixers, composers, and puppet makers.
