Our Story

My best friend’s mom, Katie, was rushed to the hospital and had to undergo emergency heart surgery. It was sudden, terrifying, and completely unexpected.

She is now in recovery, but the road ahead will be long — physically, emotionally, and financially. Between hospital bills, medications, follow-up treatments, and lost income during her healing time, the costs are overwhelming. She is also a single mother to her 11 year old son.
