I’m heartbroken to share that I’m creating this GoFundMe to support my Aunt Katie and her family during an unimaginable time. Early last week, Katie suffered a stroke that has impacted her with significant challenges. We remain hopeful that with time, therapy, and support, she will regain strength.

Katie spends her days teaching children at a low income charter school in the city of Buffalo, NY. Her and her husband Rob have four children — three of whom are currently in college. This unexpected event will likely impact her capacity to work full time and also effect them with inevitable financial strain. These funds will go directly toward medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, meals, and other essentials as they adjust to this new chapter.
