Katie Ouellette, our cousin, is facing one of the toughest challenges of her life. On November 17, 2025, she went to the hospital because of intense head pain and vomiting, and doctors discovered she had suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm. She was quickly sent by ambulance to another hospital and underwent emergency brain surgery to repair the aneurysm. Katie is still recovering in the ICU, and her excellent medical team is monitoring her closely every day. We are so grateful that she made it to the hospital in time and that the surgery was successful, but the road to recovery will be long and difficult.

Katie is a caring and strong person who means so much to our family. As a single mom, we want her to focus on getting better—not on the financial strain that comes with extended hospital stays and ongoing medical bills. The funds raised here will go directly toward helping Katie cover her medical bills and living expenses while she recovers.
