Support Katie's Journey to Mobility

My name is Heather Higgins, and I have known Kathryn “Katie” Stover for a few years now as a co-worker and a friend. On May 16th, 2024, Katie was in a near fatal accident that has left her paralyzed at just 29 years old. Katie has lived a very active lifestyle of playing sports, competing in martial arts, and is a fellow rider.

Although Katie has undergone multiple surgeries to improve her quality of life, Katie’s home will need to be modified for wheelchair accessibility, she will need a specialized vehicle, and will need financial support while out of work completing rehabilitation and adjusting to her new life.

I can’t imagine everything that Katie has been going through, but I know that she has so many people who love and support her, and hopefully we can help her financially to get through this difficult time. All donations will go directly to Katie so that funds can be utilized by her to pay bills and get renovations underway.
