My name is Crystal Holloway. Something that i couldn’t imagine happening to me, happened to my younger sister, Katie Estremera. She hired a tax preparer name, Bretnie Murphy in Titusville Fl to do her taxes for her. Come Feb 24th when my sister was to pick up her refund from Bretnie, she then got the run around and decided to make some calls herself, to find out this girl STOLE her whole refund, even took out an advance on it. She had it deposited into a Sutton bank account which is cash app. She FORGED my sister and my brother in laws signatures in order to file. She filed for my sister last year with no issues so this was something none of us were expecting. Unfortunately, i myself do not have the funds to loan or give them the help they truly were counting on. As most ppl, myself included, really count on their taxes for many reasons. If you are able, even a dollar helps. Everything adds up and will be greatly appreciated. We know God will walk this storm with them and see them through.
please share this as we would also like to get awareness out there that this woman is scamming hard working humans for EVERY penny. My sister has already filed a police report and is in contact with the irs but as of now there are no promises she will ever get her money back and if she does it will be after an unknown amount of time. They say it could take months to years if ever.
