Katie Bird is a loving mother of four—Oliver (10), Jamie (11), Anna (16), and Tinei (17).

In September, Katie’s life changed forever when she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. After surgery to remove a mass and her spleen, complications delayed her chemotherapy. Sadly, the cancer spread, and Katie is now facing stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

Doctors estimate 9–11 months, possibly longer with specialized treatments. Katie is determined to fight, but the reality is harsh: she’s on limited income, her FMLA is ending, and she’s struggling to cover basic living expenses and gas for countless medical appointments.
