Support Katie’s Medical Fight

Hi! My name is Katie and I deal with Chronic Illness, Chronic Pain, and Disability that is known as the “Suicide Disease” as it is one of the most painful conditions known. 

As of December 2024 I was diagnosed with CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) which is seriously some of the ABSOLUTE worst torturous pain I have ever felt in my life. The flare ups that I have experienced have been so intense and soul crushing. 

Learning how to walk again pretty much on my left side with fiery pain has been a continuous process and struggle, and unfortunately it still continues to be. 

I am dealing with my seizures more often again as the heat has increased plus any left over symptoms like partial paralysis and extreme fatigue; due to my FND (functional neurological disorder) and currently dealing with POTS symptoms and as of late, trying to get used to living with ME/CFS and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (which I am finding is causing more and more unkind symptoms)

I am currently unemployed due to my disability and am currently working so hard on getting on Disability or any form of financial assistance. It’s been a fight and the waiting period is so long. Leaving me with no financial support at all. 

My amazing mom has tried her best to help as she can, but she is now retired and dealing with her own intense health things. There are no more funds to help me continue to live where I do. 

I am making this Go Fund Me to help support me and my Service Dog till I can hopefully find a better solution or I am luck enough to be given Disability support. 

Im trying to raise enough money for me to keep my car as a back up in case I am evicted, to raise money to help keep my phone on and running in case of emergencies. 

I’m trying to also raise money to help keep my service dog safe and happy. He is fighting hard trying to help me, the least I can do is make sure he’s well fed and happy with a treat or two. 

I’m trying to raise money for food as I have been not eating really at all not just due to the financial strain but because of lack of proper medical care which has now caused me to loose an unhealthy amount weight in a to short amount of time, which is a major concern. 

Then the most important thing; I’m trying to raise money for any/all medical devices, supplies, over the counter medications and creams/salves for pain, plus things that may come up here in the future now, that are now needed. 

As my conditions continue to progressively deteriorate, getting new tools to help are key, whether it’s a bigger heating pad or heat patches, or something like electrolytes that help keep me from passing out. 

Really, I’m looking for any kind of help to help keep me and my dog safe. Especially safe and out of a shelter or my car, as long as possible. Especially with all these new medical conditions and things coming up.
