Help Katie and her husband with the lifesaving SMA treatment for Cassian. SMA is a progressive muscular degenerative disease caused by damage to motor neurons in the spinal cord. Without treatment, this will eventually lead to loss of the ability to move and breathe. Cassian received a therapy to stop the progression of the disease, but lost his Medi-Cal coverage on March 31.

For the next 8 weeks, he needs weekly lab draws and specialist Dr. visits for follow-up care. Please help us get Cassian the care he needs and help Katie during this difficult time of diagnosis and treatment.
