Katie Austin is a loving, devoted mother who after leaving an abusive husband is now facing a difficult and costly custody battle for her two-year-old daughter, Eleanor. Katie is seeking full custody while still allowing visitation with Eleanor’s father so that Eleanor can have the stability, routine, and security every young child deserves. Right now, the current week-on/week-off 50/50 custody schedule has been very difficult for Eleanor. At only two years old, she is struggling with the constant transitions. Eleanor also shares a very strong and loving bond with her older sister, Sarah, and being separated on alternating weeks has been hard for both girls. Katie is fighting to create a more stable, consistent home environment where Eleanor can thrive and maintain that important sister bond.

Anyone who knows Katie knows what a wonderful mother and person she is. She is kind, compassionate, and always willing to step in and help others when they need it most. Her children are her entire world, and she is doing everything she can to protect and support them during this incredibly challenging time.
