Hello everyone we are reaching out to ask for your support for my friend Katie, a wonderful person who has been facing an incredibly difficult time. Recently, Katie was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS)—a rare illness that attacks the nervous system, making it difficult to move around and complete daily tasks such as bathing and preparing meals for herself. Through it all, Katie has shown so much strength and determination, but she needs our help. The financial burden has been overwhelming, with past-due expenses.she is lacking physical therapy and occupational therapy due to these unforeseen circumstances which has caused set backs to her recovery.
