My 28-year-old niece, Katie, has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroendocrine cancer. It's very rare, and we need to get her into City of Hope where there is an oncologist who specializes in this rare disease. Needless to say, this doctor is out of network, which means lots of money out of pocket. My niece and the family do not have a lot of funds to help her fight for her life.
We are doing everything to get her the care and treatment she needs to help her with this battle. She has two young children that need her. I don't ask for charity very often, but if it means helping to save her life, I will exhaust every avenue. Please help us to help her. Any donation, big or small, will help. Please help Katie kick cancer's keister.
My niece,Katie, continues to fight the fight..her current treatment plan has not shrunk the main source tumor but it has diminished the growth of cancer cells. This is definitely a win. It means it is keeping it from spreading further and we continue to pray this remains the case. She is still in need of help with her medical bills. For those of you that have donated, words cannot express our gratitude for your kindness and generosity. I know asking for help around the holidays is always a financial challenge so if you were not able to donate before and now there is an opportunity, I will ask for your help, if you can. My niece is 28 years old, with a 9 year old and 3 year old that she wants to see grow up. No donation is too small. Help us to beat this.
