Support Katie's Battle Against Cancer

As many of you know, Katie has recently been faced with life-changing news. Katie is battling an aggressive form of stage 2 Squamous Cell Carcinoma. As the cancer has spread, required treatment will start immediately with a very invasive surgery.

The purpose of this GoFundMe page is to raise money that will assist with Katie’s current and future medical bills and expenses. She has a long road ahead filled with surgery, hospital stays, doctor’s appointments and radiation. Medical debt should not be a worry of hers as she continues to fight this awful disease. Instead, she should be spending time with her family and friends, and most importantly her kids, Danny (13) and McKenna (9).

For those of you who do not know much about Katie, she is truly one of a kind! Just to note a few amazing things about her- she is one of the best friends a person could ask for, she is always willing to go above and beyond by helping with whatever, whenever. She is the best cook and is always ready to get into the kitchen and feed a whole crew of people with the biggest smile.

Please help us ease the financial burden put on her and her family by contributing to this great cause. Katie is a warrior and is fully prepared to fight this disease. Katie will be in the hospital for roughly a week following this surgery and Matt will be there with her each step of the way. Any donation will be used to help with expenses incurred during this time while neither Katie or Matt will be working.
