Hi, my name is Katiejo and I’m reaching out for a little help during a tough time.
I’m 33 years old and currently six months sober, working hard every day to rebuild my life in recovery. It hasn’t been easy, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come — and I’m determined to keep moving forward for myself and for my kids.
Recently, my car was stolen and returned badly damaged. It’s now in the shop, and the total repair cost to get it back on the road is $2,500. Unfortunately, the shop can only hold it for a short time, and I’m doing everything I can to come up with the money before it’s too late.
Having my car means everything right now — it’s how I’ll visit my kids, take them to doctor’s appointments, and be present for their activities. It’s also how I’ll stay on track with my recovery by making it to meetings, appointments, and work opportunities, especially as the weather gets colder.
If you’re able to help, even a small amount would mean the world. Every bit gets me one step closer to getting my car back, staying connected to my kids, and continuing this new chapter of my life on solid ground.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for believing in second chances.
