Katie is a U.S. Army veteran and a dedicated confinement officer who has served our community for nearly twenty years. She has always put others first, working tirelessly to keep us safe and support those around her. Now, Katie is facing one of the toughest battles of her life: a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. As she begins her fight, Katie is surrounded by friends, family, and neighbors who want to support her just as she has supported so many of us.

Katie is not only focused on her own health, but also on caring for her son during this difficult time.
