Friends of Katie Mc’s Irish Pub

Katie Mc’s was ordered by the state to close March 16 ,2020 due to Covid 19.  She has been unable to reopen due to restrictions and guidelines mandated by the state to secure the safety of her customers and herself.  Kathy, as  everyone knows her, is not someone to ask for help, she is the one usually helping others, most often without even being asked.  Kathy has owned and operated Katie Mc’s  on her own since 2002.  Despite becoming a widow at the age of 51, left to raise her 12yr old son alone(which she did a wonderful job), she never asked for nothing.  She has allowed many to use her bar for all different types of fundraising at no charge, she has prepared dinners on holidays for many who she knew had no families to go to. Well with no income for 9 months now and bills such as mortgage, property taxes, utilities and other expenses that have to be paid, money is tight. Any donation would be greatly appreciated so we can help keep Katie Mc’s a part of the Huntington Village community. Hopefully one day when Covid is under control, we will be able to stop by and have a drink, safely, at our favorite Irish Pub!
