Help Katie Lay Her Mother to Rest

We’re reaching out on behalf of our dear colleague and friend, Katie, who is facing an incredibly difficult time. In the past year and a half, Katie has experienced the unimaginable loss of both of her parents to cancer. She selflessly brought each of them into her home to care for them as they fought their final battles.

Katie’s beloved mother passed away just days ago, and the family is now in need of support to cover the funeral expenses. Katie is planning a simple cremation and modest service, doing everything she can to honor her mother while keeping costs as low as possible.

Unfortunately, Katie’s financial situation is extremely strained. Over the past month, she has missed numerous days of work to care for her mom. On top of that, Katie has recently opened her heart and home to two children in need, stepping up to prevent them from entering the foster care system.

Katie has always given so much to others — her family, her community, and now to these children. We’re asking for your help in giving something back.
