Support Katie in her Breast Cancer Journey
Donation protected
1 month ago Katie was diagnosed with breast cancer at 24 years young! She will be completing 16 weeks of chemotherapy in the Bay Area! Let’s support Katie during her journey kicking this cancer in the booty! With her chemo treatments being a few hours from where she lives, things will add up fast!... medications, wigs, comfortable clothes, pillows, transportation, gas, hotel rooms, etc!
The goal amount is arbitrary, we just want to help Katie focus on her treatments and not worry about the finances! If feel led to support in any way, please do! & prayers are of course welcomed!
”C A N C E R. One word I never thought I would have to think about at 24 years young. I was diagnosed with breast cancer 1 month ago. The entire month of July was a whirlwind of ups and downs, lots of prayers, the “unknown” fear, so much positivity, the feeling that this is unbelievably surreal, but most importantly I have experienced so much love and support from friends, family, and even strangers. You may be thinking this isn’t real, how can this happen, or why? All of which have crossed my mind too, but still, here I am! During the last month, I’ve realized I have the power to make some good happen out of all of this. Awareness and early detection is so so important! Know your body, and if something doesn’t seem right, get it checked out. I found my lump by putting on a swim suit! And it can happen to anyone! This is my reality. I am strong, optimistic, and tough, so I have no doubt that I’ll kick ass throughout this journey, but the kind words and love I have received over the past few weeks means more to me then anyone will ever know! I’ll look and feel different for a while, but I am still my same sassy self! Oh yeah, and in the words of one of my breasties, “squeeze a titty because you might save a life” #breastcancerawareness” - Katie
