Support Katie, Andy, Noah & Baby Ben

On December 30th, Katie and Andy welcomed their second beautiful baby boy, Ben, into the world. After a short stay in the NICU, Ben is now home and thriving. Big brother Noah is already embracing his new role—eager to teach Ben how to ride a bike and perfect his karate kicks.

But amidst this joy, the family is facing an incredibly difficult challenge.

At 34 weeks pregnant, Katie was diagnosed with triple positive breast cancer. She now has a long year of chemotherapy/ Radiation treatment and surgery ahead. While her prognosis is positive, this year will be physically and emotionally demanding—not just for Katie, but for Andy, Noah, and their newborn son.

Caring for a newborn is already exhausting. Doing so while undergoing chemotherapy, managing medical appointments, and navigating the mental toll of a cancer diagnosis makes it even more overwhelming. Katie is not working and Andy will need to take time off to support her and their boys through this journey.

How You Can Help

We’ve started this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden on their family so they can focus on what truly matters- Katie’s healing and time together.

Your donation will directly support:

✅ Medical Expenses

(some medicines/drugs are not covered, she will require various specialists throughout treatment like a post-mastectomy physio and counselling)

✅ Caregiving & Support

(flights for family to come help, a night nanny for Ben during Katie’s treatment weeks)

✅ Day-to-day Essentials

(additional daycare days/evenings for Noah, lost income, baby formula as Katie is unable to breastfeed)
