One of the most incredible people I know, Katie Nelson, has just suffered a sudden, unimaginable loss during the holidays. Scott Nelson passed away unexpectedly on Friday. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend who touched the lives of everyone he met. His absence is heavily felt.

For my friend, the devastation of Scott’s loss is only compounded by the unexpected expense and high costs of a funeral service and end-of-life needs. This is especially difficult during the holidays. She, and their daughter, Peyton, deserve to honor Scott’s memory and say their last goodbyes properly.
