Katie and David, less than a year ago, got their first house built on this very land they also got engaged on. They are also getting married on May 17 2025. They have worked so hard to get it just how they want it. In the past several days, they have worked 24/7 with the help of several friends and family, digging trenches, stacking sandbags, and running multiple water pumps to keep the water away from what they put their heart and soul into. But as of last night, the water just had nowhere to go and now has flooded their entire house.

Any donation would help at this time for this young soon-to-be newlywed couple as they also don’t have any flood insurance and have lost so much, as well as the thousands upon thousands of dollars it will cost them out of pocket to get their house back to where it was before the flood.
