Katie has just been given the heartbreaking news that her mom, Christine Moore Dettman, has passed away. Katie is in New York with her brother, helping to navigate everything that comes with a sudden loss — from making arrangements to sorting through all the decisions no one is ever fully prepared for.

Chris had a good sense of humor and loved her kids deeply. Her passing is a tremendous loss for Katie and her brother, and they’re doing everything they can to honor her and support each other through this.
