My sweetest friend Kathy lives on St. Pete Beach and literally lost everything from hurricane Helene and Milton. She evacuated as she should have and I thank God she is safe! Her mortgage company did not require Flood insurance. She came home on Sunday once the 5 feet of water that came into her home reseeded to a complete loss of everything. Inside everything is a damaged and on the curb now. Outside, the beautiful plants and gardening she has spent over a decade working on is all gone. She recently retired two weeks prior to the storm from one of her jobs. She has been working two jobs for as long as I have known her. She is the most compassionate and hardest working women I have ever known. She has and will give anything she has to take care of anyone she meets that needs help without hesitation. If you can donate just a little, it would help tremendously. If you cannot donate, please share my post! Kathy did not ask for this.
