Support Kathy's Memorial: Celebrate Her Life

Hi, my name is Alexandria and I’m fundraising to honor the life of my grandma, Kathy, lovingly known as Meme, who passed away on May 12th, one day after Mother’s Day. Our hearts are broken by this loss, and we’re doing our best to navigate this difficult time together as a family.

Meme was more than just our grandma—she was a mother, a therapist, a musician, dog/cat mom, and a friend to so many. She had an incredible ability to make people feel seen and heard, both in her work and in her everyday life. Her clients adored her, and it’s no surprise because she had a gift for helping others, paired with a sharp wit and sense of humor that kept us all smiling.

Music was one of her greatest joys. She loved playing jazz & blues and had a deep love for the rhythm and soul of good music. Whether she was playing, listening, or dancing along, music brought her to life and she brought that same joy to those around her.

She leaves behind her daughter, husband, her dog coco, and her three granddaughters, including myself. We were her world, and she was ours. Her presence lit up every room, and we’re so grateful for the love, laughter, and support she gave us.

This was very unexpected and our family was not prepared for the financial burden it comes with so we’re hoping to raise funds to help with funeral and memorial costs, and to give Meme the beautiful farewell she deserves.
