Hafa Adai, we are Kameryn and Devyn Duenas, both humbly reaching out for support on behalf of our mother, Kathy Duenas, who is preparing to take a critical step toward receiving a life-saving kidney transplant.

In 2010, our mom was diagnosed with glomerulonephritis, a serious kidney disease that damages the kidneys’ ability to filter waste and excess fluid from the blood. Over the years, her condition has worsened, and she is now on regular dialysis, which she undergoes daily at home just to stay alive.

Despite the challenges, our mom continues to fight with grace, strength, and hope. She has always been the heart of our family a warm, caring, and generous woman who puts others before herself. Now, she needs our help.

We are raising $15,000 to help cover the costs of her kidney transplant evaluation, which she hopes to schedule by January 2026. This evaluation is a vital first step before she can be placed on the transplant list, a full set of medical exams and tests must be completed. The costs include:

-Pre-transplant evaluations and lab work

-Specialist consultations

-Travel, lodging, and transportation

-Follow-up appointments and medications

We’re doing everything we can, but the financial burden is heavy, and time is short. Any donation big or small will go directly toward helping Kathy begin this life-saving journey.
