I'm Kathy, Meowmy to Quinn and Finn. I got my fur babies 2 years ago. I promised myself that as soon as I paid off my credit card I would get pet insurance. I did get it 6 months after I got them. Quinn started to get very lethargic a few days later so I took her to the vet. The first check up is covered immediately under the insurance but anything else is not covered until 3 months after the start of the policy. She got sick 3 says after. She had an autoimmune condition that made her extremely anemic and she needed a transfusion. She was a rare blood type so it was difficult to find blood for her. She had several overnight stays at the emergency vet and several transfusions. Unfortunately she couldn't keep fighting and eventually passed away. Since it wasn't covered by insurance because it was then a preexisting condition, I ended up with $18,000 in credit card bills I'm still working on Paying off. IFriends suggested I start a Go fund me but I am uncomfortable with the idea of asking for money since I simply started this channel to help and inspire people. Do not feel obligated to give but any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm on disability so I don't esrn much and I'm trying to make a living with my art but it's been a struggle. I could only make the minimum payment and the interest keeps accruing and I can't afford the minimum payment anymore. There isn't much left in my bank account and I'm afraid of losing my home.
