We are celebrating my mom, Kathy’s life. She transitioned on April 20, Resurrection Sunday in the early morning from a courageous battle with pneumonia and lung cancer. We were unaware of the cancer diagnosis. One day she was a vibrant, healthy, 75 year old woman and within a week she was in the hospital for pneumonia, diagnosed with lung cancer and being placed on Hospice. It all happened very quick and seems like a divine intervention. We just lost my Dad four months ago and it’s still a surreal experience. We feel blessed to have been able to care for her here at home, literally until she took her last breath. It’s awe-inspiring to see how GOD orchestrates things in people’s lives to make situations like this possible. Now I’m reaching out for support. We were not prepared for this unexpected journey. I’m experiencing a steep learning curve with navigating the loss of loved ones and there is a lot more to it than we typically anticipate. I’ve been out of work for a while, caring for my family, making arrangements for my dad’s business and his passing and unexpectedly taking care of my mom. I’m asking for help to take care of final arrangement's. This includes unexpected attorneys fees, medical costs, and funeral costs. There is a lot involved and every contribution counts. My family and I are grateful for your help.
