Hello, I am starting this for my mom Kathy. She has recently been diagnosed with liver cancer. She has been out of work for the entire month of November. We have many many many doctors appts in New Brunswick coming up to start treatment. Originally I wanted to make this to help her with bills in the future as she will be taking off lots of days of work (she still works to provide for herself, my niece and nephew) so she doesn’t get behind. Now I have just found out the temp disability she filed for (she was in hospital for 2 weeks and then was ill after that plus doctors appts) was denied.. so she hasn’t had any income for the entire month of November.

Any who, any amount will help.. I just don’t want to see her fall behind especially with the holidays coming up and not knowing what lies ahead as she will begin treatment soon.

UPDATE#1

need another blood panel and MRI before deciding on treatment. More than likely she will be undergoing TACE treatment which is when they blast chemo beads directly into the liver, followed by external radiation and immunotherapy. Life expectancy is about 5yrs regardless of what treatment we go with.
