My mom, Kathy, has always been the life of the party bringing joy, laughter, and kindness wherever she goes. Over the past few months, she has been battling serious health issues, leading to multiple ER visits and eventually paralysis. Doctors discovered a tumor on her spine, requiring emergency surgery. Thankfully, the surgery was successful, and she is now in rehab and physical therapy.

The tumor was biopsied and she was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. They did another scan and confirmed additional masses in her lungs.

Kathy has always been the first to lend a hand to family and friends, but now she needs our help. She has been unable to work since the beginning of the year, and her medical bills, transportation costs, and other expenses are piling up. Insurance is already pushing back on coverage, and while we are in the process of securing Social Security Disability, it takes time.

We are asking for donations to help cover her immediate medical expenses. Any amount—big or small—would mean the world to us and will go directly toward her care.
