Support Kathy Ford's Family in Their Time of Need

On April 11th, 2024 we lost a mother, a wife, a grandmother, a sister, an aunt. Kathy Ford was an incredibly caring and loving woman. She dedicated her life to her family. She raised two boys, Ryan and Shaun, by herself for almost 10 years before meeting Tommie, whom she would eventually marry.

There are no words to describe how it feels to lose a mother. Coupled with the unexpected nature of her passing it has crippled our family. She was making long term plans to spend more time with her grandsons and discussing plans for her son Ryan’s 40th birthday coming up in a little over a month. She was discussing plans to move into a new home with her son Shaun and soon to be daughter in-law, Leah. She was looking forward to working for a few more years and was excited for upcoming projects she was working on.

She often discussed her future with her husband and what that was going to look like long term. No one was expecting her to pass, especially her. There was no will in place. There were no plans for handling her passing. Ryan and Shaun have been discussing the matter with the family and decided to start this GoFundMe.

We plan on having a celebration of life in Buckeye, Arizona and another in Portland, Oregon where she will be laid to rest in the same cemetery as her parents. Once details are finalized there will be an update on this page with those details. It is our hope people can share their memories of our mom here.

If you would like to donate to help with expenses, we would be grateful but please do not feel obligated to donate. Any money donated will be used for funeral expenses and travel needed for the celebrations of life as well as settling any outstanding items in her estate to be shipped up to her family in Oregon.
