Hi, I’m Meeka, Kathleen's niece.

I’m reaching out to share some heartbreaking news. My aunt, Kathleen, was involved in a devastating head-on collision on Friday, January 31, 2025.

She sustained serious injuries and faces a long road to recovery. The accident was completely out of her control—she was struck head-on by a car traveling the wrong way on a U.S. highway while on her way to pick up her four-year-old daughter.

This was Kathleen’s only means of transportation, and as a mother of two young children, this situation has left her at a significant disadvantage. Due to the severity of her injuries, she’s unable to walk and will be out of work for an extended period while undergoing rehabilitation.
