Hi, my name is Kathleen D. and I'm requesting funds for hardship as I have to move out of my rental by April 30th.

I am a single, 76-year-old woman, retired and in need. I was told that I have to vacate my rental as the owner is going to sell, and I have to be out by April 30th. This is a shock. I am "disabled" with the effects of COVID, and I may have Parkinson's as well. It has not been verified. I need funds to move, around $2000, plus 3 months' rent up front. I have many precious pieces of furniture that were my parents' and plan on keeping them. When I moved from NY 10 years ago, I donated a lot of furniture to the Veterans and took what I wanted to keep. My health is okay right now, but who knows! I have outstanding medical bills that need to be paid, and I just don't have it on my small Social Security. I'm in a terrible bind. Rents are so much higher than what I was paying, so I need funds for my future as well. I had a roommate, but that person is going on his separate way. I just don't know what else to do. It was suggested to try this venue.
