Hi,

My name is Kathleen Moore- Breiling and I am a 52-year-old wife, mother, and grandmother. A few months ago, I went for my mammogram and received the diagnosis that all women are terrified to hear... I have Breast Cancer.

After undergoing an initial Lumpectomy to remove the Cancer, The Cancer was still present, my Margins were not clear, and my test results showed I have a 55% chance of recurring invasive risk in the next 5-10 years unless I have a Masectomy.

I need help with medical bills and Breast Reconstruction Surgery as I am about to undergo a Double Mastectomy on 7/23/25 at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL.

I also would like to have my Reconstruction Surgery at PRMA in San Antonio, TX since they specialize in it, but FMLA does not pay during time off, and my husband and I cannot afford to take the time off necessary for the recovery time needed, Also I will need to have to have a fulltime caretaker for 6-8 weeks after surgery, which my Insurance does not cover.
