This page has been created for those who would like to help Kathi and Matt with expenses they have since learning of Kathi's diagnosis of stage 4 brain cancer.

In June, Kathi had mentioned that she had been feeling kind of off and sleeping a lot more.

Kathi went to urgent care and then went to the ER. On July 8th, a brain mass was discovered. July 9th Kathi and Matt received a diagnosis of stage 4 brain cancer with 4 tumors. Kathi stayed in the hospital in Duluth. While there she had a special visit from Vern and Trudy, her 4 legged kids while waiting to have surgery on July 12th to remove the largest of the 4 tumors. Kathi was discharged on July 22nd to recover at home. August 29th Kathi started chemo and radiation daily and completed this on September 3rd. Kathi kept her spirits up by having guests, cookies from the state fair and lots of love from Matt and her fur kids. Kathi experienced a seizure on September 17th and was taken to the hospital. Kathi went home on hospice care starting September 18th.
