Hi, I’m Katherine. For years, I have struggled with a debilitating eating disorder. I’ve tried medication and therapy but have not found a medication that helps or a counselor I click with. Recently, I have gone off all my antidepressants and feel healthy and well, and ready to fully tackle my eating disorder through a comprehensive treatment plan. After much research, I found a virtual company that takes insurance and enrolled. I was so excited to get started and my start date was set as 8 July 2024.

Then I got the cost analysis. Even with insurance (and I’ve already hit my deductible for the year) and a payment plan, my out of pocket costs would be up to $600 a month. The cheapest payment plan would have me spending almost $400 a month even after I have completed treatment. This company / program is still cheaper than others I have found and I still want to try and make this work to better my own health.
