Help Support Katherine's Fight Against Myasthenia Gravis

Last year, my girlfriend Katherine was diagnosed with a life-threatening chronic condition, Myasthenia Gravis, a muscular autoimmune disease that affects various muscles within her upper body. This has put her in the hospital many times prior to her diagnosis last year, as doctors were struggling to find the cause of her symptoms. Around June, she took a turn for the worst to where basic functions of her body began compromising.

She was then forced into the ICU and self-induced into a coma, as the swelling from her condition made it impossible for her to swallow or eat anything, for weeks. Her ability to breathe was being threatened at this point. The medical debts for her family have begun to add up and are getting increasingly difficult to keep up with as she receives biweekly treatments to keep the symptoms of her condition from coming back again. They have been through absolute hell and back.
