Support Katherine Savage's Film Project

Our dear friend, Katherine Savage, is a death midwife and respected teacher who describes her purpose as building a culture of living in accordance with the planet’s regenerative cycles. With skill and care, she guides individuals on their personal journeys, and supports communities in building practices that dignify the dying process and honors the Earth which will receive us.

Friends and students of Katherine are inspired to create a short film focusing on her recent Field to Shroud project of growing and weaving a Death Shroud, as part of her inspiring vision for healing community culture around Death and Dying.

Our goal is to raise these funds within two weeks, so that film-maker Charly Louise of Venus Rising Media can begin capturing footage at an upcoming community gathering of friends who will finish Katherine’s shroud.

This is an opportunity to give back to this dear friend and teacher who has been so generous with so many of us, to capture (on film) the inspiring story of her life’s work, and carry it forward.
