Hi everyone!

If you're viewing this page, then you've likely already heard me rave about The Allender Center or possibly talk about the parts of my story that make me particularly interested in the work they do. I have had the pleasure of reading a number of Dan Allender's books, engaging in various online workshops, and a few rounds of group story work over the year, all of which - I believe - have been absolutely foundational in the growth and healing I've experienced thus far.

One of the major offerings of The Allender Center is their Recovery Week - a weeklong, therapeutic intensive filled with group teachings by Dan and other clinicians affiliated with the Allender Center, group story work time, and one-on-one time with a clinician around the particularities of your stories. I have hoped to attend Recovery Week for years and was accepted this year!

I have managed to secure a $2000 scholarship through The Allender Center, paid for my flights there and back, covered an additional $500 deposit, and am saving as much as I can from each paycheck, but I am at the point that I am very worried I will NOT manage to complete the remainder of my payments due before leaving on Sunday (6/10/24).

I am more than happy to further detail where each of my paychecks is currently going to anyone interested in knowing that before considering donating - I just figured I would err on the side of not inundating folks.

Absolutely anything you are able to help with means the world to me. This is a once in a lifetime experience that I truly believe will help me start to live my life from a place of healing and freedom in a way I haven't experienced in a very long time.
