Support Kate's Father Battling Parkinson's

Hello. My name is Kate, and I'm a mom of 3 young boys born and living in NYC. I've worked in the education and public service sector for most of my career, and I've also worked full-time outside the home I share with my husband since our children were born.

I'm trying to raise funds to support my father, who was diagnosed with a progressive form of Parkinson's Disease last year at the age of 67, shortly after my mother died last October at the age of 62. Since then, my father has moved from a temporary nursing facility in Florida to New York. I'm trying to get him better medical care in the NY tristate area, as the current nursing home facility he is in is no longer a safe option for him.

Update as of 10/5/24: Thank you all so much for your support! I will begin the process to move my father into an Assisted Living facility not too far away from me now!! And I was also able to purchase him a phone and receive a donated chrome book & iPad mini to help him stay connected to loved ones. Thank you all from the top of my heart!
