Support Kate's family after her husband's death

Hello,
My name is Dmitry Avdeev and I am fundraising to help my sister-in-law Kate Derzhavitskaya and her 3 years old daughter Nicole.
Aged 33, after a week of fighting for his life in ICU of Humber River Hospital, Kate's husband Andrii died on April 16th. His sister Olga is my wife.
Andrii and Kate met each other when they were studying in a university in Eastern Ukraine. Through several years of hard work as a live-in caregiver, Kate became a landed immigrant in Canada, and Andrii followed her. Kate's close relatives, including her mother, had to flee elsewhere from her native city of Luhansk, Ukraine, due to the escalating war in the region.
Since moving to Canada, Andrii worked in various trades, mostly in construction. He always took extra hours to provide more for the family, and it came with additional physical and mental pressure.
Having been mechanically inclined and generally a great handyman, Andrii was able to land a job as an aircraft maintenance mechanic at Av-Reps - a job that he really loved. He worked there for less than a year, when COVID-19 pandemic started.
Andrii was a member of a local church and a person of faith. Through his life journey, he took time to volunteer and to be both mentee and mentor.
The loss of the only breadwinner of the house was a shock and completely unexpected. Rent, car payments and the rising cost of living didn't allow any significant room for savings. Andrii was supplementing family income by doing various delivery gigs after a full work day at his Av-Reps job.
The funds raised will be used to cover Andrii's funerals and the cost of living for Kate, Nicole and their second daughter after the birth. Kate doesn't have any relatives in Canada and she comes from a war-torn part of Eastern Ukraine, so her support resources are limited to my family and Andrii's parents.
Andrii is survived by his wife Kate and daughter Nicole. Kate is 5 months pregnant, and is expecting another beautiful girl. Myself and Olga will be responsible for paying for the funerals and transferring anything that's left to Kate.
