My name is Kate and im actually making a gofundme for my parents. My parents have been married for 39 years, and in those years they have had alot of hardships and rough times. So Im doing this because my whole life my dad has worked his butt off to try and support 4 girls and our mom who has been sick with MS which is Multiple Schlerosis. He would work 7 days a week and 7 nights a week. He has never got a break but now he has been having alot of Health issues that has caused him to not be able to work, so he now recieves $1000.00 a month from social security retirement. That is not enough to be able to pay all of there bills.

My dad has had shingles for about 7 months now and has been in so much pain. He's been seeing a few differeht doctors between ortho NY, a neurologist and many other doctors for that as well as his COPD, Myasthenia Gravis Disease. The doctors around here have done everything available to help. There also saying now he has Ulnar Neuropathy of his left hand. So he pretty much lost use of his left hand. His eyesight has become really bad he can only barely see by closing one eye and squinting but it’s just been getting worse. So his current doctors want him to go to syracuse to see a specialist for his eyes but his vehicle will not make it down there nor does he have the extra funds to be able to go down there so thats why im asking for help for him. He has never asked anyone for anything, he has always been there for everyone to lend them a helping hand when needed even if it was a complete stranger. My dad needs help and really deserves to get some answers and figure out what can happen next but he needs to have enough money for a rental car, Hotel, tolls, food and gas because we are not sure how long he his going to have to be down there for. So if you are able to help it would mean so much to us and be so appreciated and grateful. Once they are back on there feet i know my dad and he will pay it back to the community as he always has. <3
