Hello sweet friends! We are starting this fundraiser for our dear friend Katelyn and her family as she is facing some difficult medical diagnoses that are impacting her ability to work and we won’t be sure what the future holds for their income for quite a while.

heres a message from Katelyn to explain what’s going on:

Hi friends! I have some life updates that we shared with the girls last night so am starting to share with others.

I’ve had some health stuff going on and we are starting to get more clear answers. I have a 2cm brain tumor and possible MS.

I met with my neurologist this morning and have some more details of what’s to come. They think the tumor is either lymphoma or glimoma but won’t know for sure right away. I’ll get getting a ct scan from my head to my pelvis to check for any other abnormalities. Then be going in for the spinal tap which will tell us if the tumor is cancer, rule out ALS, and confirm or rule out MS.

They think I’ve been having absent seizures so will go in for a brain ekg sleep and awake. Then will meet with the neurosurgeons on 3/10 to discuss how they will remove the tumor. They have given me a 4-5 week timeline for these test.

We are taking it all one day at a time and are currently trying to keep things as normal as possible for the kids.
