Hi, my name is Katelyn. I’m 23 years old, and I’m currently fighting for my child in a heartbreaking case of parental alienation.

My son was wrongfully taken from me, and every day since has been a fight to stay strong for him. I don’t have a family or support system to lean on. The people who should have protected my child and supported me made choices that showed they did not have his best interest or mine at heart. I’ve been navigating this battle alone.

Despite everything, I work hard every single day to cover all of my expenses on my own. I show up. I don’t quit. But the weight of everything ,court costs, travel, basic living expenses have become a bit overwhelming.

Today, my situation became even more critical.

My car broke down.

It’s a 2007 model, and I’ve already poured endless money into repairs just to keep it running. This car isn’t a luxury.. it’s my lifeline.

I rely on it to:

• Get to work

• Attend court-ordered visitation with my son

• Make the 40-minute drive to crucial court hearings that directly impact my ability to bring my child home

If my car fails, I risk missing visitation. I risk missing court. And I risk losing precious ground in a fight no mother should ever have to face.

I’m stuck in a painful cycle. Spending the little money I earn trying to keep a vehicle alive that is clearly ready to give up. I need a safe, reliable car so I can stop wasting money on constant repairs and instead focus on what truly matters: being present, consistent, and stable for my child.

Asking for help is not easy for me. I’ve done everything I can on my own. But right now, I truly need support.
