It is with a heavy heart that I share the devastating news that my sweet sister, Katelynn, passed away today at 1:32 PM. After fighting so bravely in the ICU for the past 29 days, her injuries proved too much, and she is now at peace.

Our hearts are shattered, and while we are mourning the loss of Katelynn, we are faced with the difficult task of covering her medical bills and service arrangements. As you can imagine, the financial burden is overwhelming, and we are reaching out once more for your help.

In addition to the costs of her care, we also need to ensure that her six young children are provided for during this incredibly difficult time. They’ve lost their mother, and we want to make sure they are surrounded by love and support as they navigate life without her.

She was left for days without medical attention, leading to devastating injuries. As a result, she has suffered multiple strokes, seizures, brain bleeds, and severe bruising, among other critical injuries.

For the past 24 days, she has been in the ICU, battling every day for a chance at recovery. Her mother, Renee, is staying by her side, but she is six hours away from home and facing significant financial strain while trying to be there for her daughter. The burden of medical expenses, travel costs, and everyday living expenses has become overwhelming.

In addition to this, Katelynn is the loving mother of six young children, who need her more than ever. While she is unable to care for them, they too need support and care during this incredibly difficult time. Helping Katelynn also means helping her babies, who rely on her so much.
